About Me

I’m Liz.  I’m not a natural athlete in any way, shape or form, but I like to train for and run races.  I started running in 2014, and since then I’ve done six half marathons, one marathon, a couple of sprint triathlons, and more shorter races than I can count.

Because I like to know this information about other running bloggers that I read, here are my current PRs.  I’m not going to call myself slow because I know just how relative a term that is when it comes to running.  But needless to say I won’t be winning any races anytime soon.

Marathon: 5:01:17, Richmond Marathon, November 2016

Occasionally I like to write about my training and racing.  I figured at some point, some poor soul might want to read what I wrote.

I’m also a lawyer.  A “recovering” lawyer because I’m still recovering from 12 years in private practice, and running has helped me do that.  I’m now in a public service position that I love.    I won’t write anymore about that here (confidentiality and stuff).

I’m also a wife and mother to two beautiful little girls.
